The Aroostook River Pathway - a mixed use trail which runs along the river from downtown towards Canada - has been closed at the brook behind where the old Public Works Garage was located due to the bridge being taken out by ice.

Public Works Crews recently piled up snow and added additional signage to warn snowmobilers, ATV users and walkers about the bridge closure and to help prevent people from entering the area as it is dangerous.  They advise people not to pass the barriers as the ice and flooding last spring has also washed out part of the old rail bed making the trail unstable and unsafe.
Next Town Council Meeting: May 18, 2016 at 6:00pm
