ANNOUNCEMENT: There will be a Ribbon Cutting & Tree Lighting Ceremony held at the Fort Fairfield Community Bandstand on Sunday, December 3 At 4PM

Beginning March 12th, Fort Fairfield Public Works Crews will be posting many of the town's rural roads with weight limits to help protect the roads from being damaged by heavy vehicles.  The order will remain in place until May 15th.  These roads will remain open to emergency vehicle traffic, fuel delivery vehicles, and trash trucks that have special permits allowing them to travel on these roads while they are subject to closure.  Farmers, and others who need to transport any vehicle with a gross weight in excess of 23,000 pounds, may do so only when the roads are solidly frozen. For a full list of roads subject to this order, please click here.
